Harman Dhillon

Harman Dhillon

Harman Dhillon, Director of the International Junior Economist, is a senior attending the STEM Academy at Bartlett High School. She is Vice President of her school’s chapter of National Honors Society, Historian of Student Academy Council, and Secretary of French Club. She is also an Intern at On the Money Magazine and founder of People Project Magazine. In her free time, Harman likes to read, write, go out to the city, and spend time with her friends. She plans to study engineering as a career while continuing to pursue her interests in business and entrepreneurship.

Blake Berry

Blake Berry

Blake Berry, Chief Financial Officer, is a senior at Whitney Young High School. He is interested in economics, film and creative writing. The summer before his junior year, he interned with America Saves, a research-based campaign that motivates and supports low-to-moderate-income households to build wealth. There he helped to launch the National Youth Advisory Council. He is also the Sales team lead of the Economic Awareness Council's On the Money Magazine, a by-teens-for-teens, financial literacy publication distributed to 9,000+ youth across Chicago. At his school, Blake is on the Varsity Baseball team. In his free time he enjoys playing baseball, writing, and hanging out with friends.

Jenna Issa

Jenna Issa

Jenna Issa is a junior at Jones College Prep from the South Side of Chicago who aspires to have a career in economics. In addition, she is Vice President of the law club and a co-founder of the current events club at her school. Outside of school, she paints countless amounts of canvases and plays video games with her brother.

Pranet Swain

Pranet Swain

Pranet is a freshman at Metea Valley High School and has a passion for math, finance, and economic policy. He has been playing the violin for nine years so far, has founded the Economics and Investments Team at both his middle school & high school, and spends his free time updating his own blog on finance and economics.

Sujan Garapati

Sujan Garapati

Sujan Garapati is a senior at the Latin School of Chicago and has a passion for economics and politics. In addition, he is interested in mathematics and physics and hopes to explore these topics at some point in college. Outside of school, he is an avid tennis and basketball player.

Isai Steven Sanchéz

Isai Steven Sanchéz

Isai Steven Sanchéz is a senior at Northside College Prep. His passion for economics stems from his Latin American background and interest in Latin America’s economic and political history.

Grace Kurtz-Nelson

Grace Kurtz-Nelson

Grace is the Editor-in-Chief of the International Junior Economist and Junior Economist of Chicago. She is senior at Walter Payton College Prep. She wants to major in economics, loves studying French, and is a ballet and contemporary dancer at A&A Ballet.
